(b) Nullah: He complains that as a
condition of "recovering part of the
original frontage of his property of
which he should never have been
deprived" he had to undertake to build part of the Government's portion of a
certain nullah.
(c) Lay-out: He complains, though not very
clearly, of interference with his plans
for the development of the site.
(a) Delay: He complains that his scheme was
"delayed (by the Government) about two
years with consequential loss of
interest".
(e) Vertical Sea Wall: He complains that he
was induced to build a vertical sea wall
instead of a much cheaper rubble mound wall in order to make his scheme part of the Government's scheme of development to the eastward of his lots, whereas
the cheaper rubble mound wall would have served his purpose equally well. Road frontage: I hesitate to speak in
strong terms of a complaint which Mr. Davidson has supported, but it appears to me that this particular grievance is entirely without foundation. My reason
for saying so appear more fully in the Note No.1
annexed to this minute. It is Mr. Kwik's own
application for, and purchase of, areas "A" and "B"
